We were hoping that the "dinosaur tracks" guided auto tour would be offered this year. We will decide the date in October after seeing what interest there is at the kick-off meeting.

There is a list of instructions and requirements you must read and acknowledge when you reserve your tickets, including having 4WD with high clearance (the road into and out of the canyon is an easy-to-moderate Group 1 trail). For those interested in driving to the canyon rim after the guided tour ends, Jim will lead a short run to an overlook of the canyon we'll have just exited.

This is an exciting opportunity to walk in the exact footprints of dinosaurs, and there are a few other educational stops on the tour to explore geologic formations, an abandoned settlement, and a restored river ranch.
