Our first event of the year will be on May 13th, 2023.
We will be meeting at 8 a.m. at Perkins Jeep for a free breakfast and to discuss the plans for the day. At 9 a.m, we'll travel up to Divide, turn North and head Northwest to a large parking area to air down and divide into 3 separate trail groups.
All 3 trails (Metberry Gulch, Longwater Gulch and Hackett Gulch) are similar in difficulty but Metberry is probably the easiest of the bunch. All 3 trails head downhill toward the river, but only Metberry Gulch travels all the way to the river legally. The other two trails are technically closed at the Park County line and that's where we'll stop. Bring a lunch as we'll be having lunch on the trails.
After our time on the trails, we'll be heading to LVR (Lutheran Valley Retreat) which is VERY close by for supper. They have activities like a zip line and other games if you wish. A donation is suggested for supper. It's always a great time of fun and fellowship after a day on the trails!
Kirk and Keith will lead the Metberry Gulch run
Mike and Jason will lead the Longwater Gulch run
Sam and Brett will lead the Hackett Gulch run.
